12、童心 南宫赶

　　南宫赶紧退回房内，把门关上。深吸一口气道：

　　"Have you seen my friends doc?"

　　"You mean your friend?"

　　"Friend? Singular? "

　　Mason点点头。

　　"Her name is Tiger. How funny is that.She doesn't speak much English but she can make herself understood."南宫知道他说的是虎妍。

　　"My assistant told me that you two were passed out in the jungle then he brought you in. Let's go check..."

　　【我的助手在灌木丛发现你们的时候，你们已经晕过去了，所以就把你们带到这儿来了。】

　　"Hey doc , I really appreciate your kindness but I'm afraid I can't afford the bill but if I could find them... "

　　【大夫，您的大恩大德我感激不尽，只是我现在付不起医疗费，不过只要我找到...】

　　见南宫面露难色，Mason轻轻地拍了拍他的肩膀说道：

　　"No...no...no. That's O.K.Listen！You don't have to pay anything .

　　Since you were found in the jungle without any belongings I assume you were robbed and knocked out.

　　That's not a big deal , just caught the bad luck .

　　We are the Children of God and you are my brother. So are the robbers.We love each other.

　　I won't charge you anything and you promise me you will forgive those who did really bad things to you and let it go."

　　【小事一桩，不用你付钱。你看啊，你们是在灌木丛里被发现的，身上的行李盘缠一样没有，估计是被人抢劫后打晕了。不是什么大事儿，就是踩狗屎了。我们都是上帝的子民，你我就是兄弟，抢你钱的人也是我们的兄弟。所以我不问你收钱，你呢也别去找他们了，过去的就让它过去了，好不好？】

　　"Okay??"南宫觉得Mason会错意了。

　　"After spending years and years working here you know what I have learnt? "

　　【你猜这些年在教会工作我学到了什么？】

　　"Chinese？"

　　【中国话？】

　　"No... Peace and tolerance"Mason笑了笑，"So shall we?"

　　【心如止水！ 请吧！】

　　Mason说话的时候慢声细语，透过那副金丝镜框，可以看出这是如婴儿般单纯的双眼。二人来到隔壁的病房，Mason礼貌性地敲了三下门，没有应声，便推门而入。房间里并没有人，床上散落着各种食品的包装纸。Mason拾起一张张包装纸，摘下眼镜贴近了看了看，又戴上眼镜看了看，如此反复几遍。

　　"Look at this mess. Cookies, biscuits, candies, bread...She IS a Tiger! "Oh ... No No No ...Oh my god."

　　【搞什么啊？瞧这份儿乱的。饼干糖果面包，还有那什么......这女人还是真个老虎！】

　　" Oh ... No No No ...Oh my god."Mason突然抓起一张小纸片，也就比火柴盒大一点。

　　"What? What?"

　　【咋回事儿？】

　　"This is my chocolate ！She ate my chocolate!"

　　【这是我的巧克力。这女人吃了我的巧克力！！！】

　　"Hay Hay! Relax ! Just a piece of chocolate. What's the big deal?"

　　【消消气，消消气，不就是块巧克力嘛，至于么？】

　　"A piece of chocolate? A piece...of chocolate? ?!!

　　NO!!!This is MY piece of chocolate. The only thing I left for this Christmas. "

　　【就是块巧克力？就是块巧克力？？！！！ 这他妈的是老子的巧克力，老子留着过年吃的。】

　　"But you just told me..."

　　【你刚才不是说......】

　　"I did say we should forgive people.

　　But NOT those who eat My chocolate and not even going to tell me what it tastes like.

　　Perfect !Unbelievable! She ate my Christmas...So she is your friend ah?"

　　【我是说了！我说要宽容，可也看对谁！你说你吃就吃了，好赖你告我一声味儿怎么样，她倒好，吃了就跑！ 真他妈绝了！一口气把老子年夜饭吃了！ 我说你俩真认识？ 】

　　NO?!"——南宫虚张双眼，紧闭双唇，似笑非笑，下唇微微外翻，左右摇头，上身后仰，两手在胸前缓缓交叉，从而形成了一个教科书般的Classic Liar's Denying——【扯淡的否定】

　　“南宫！！”虎妍站在门外，看见屋里南宫正站着，冲过去就是一个熊抱。Mason看着南宫等着他开口。

　　"Long story...Tell you later!"南宫被抱得有些喘不过气，连涨得通红。

　　Mason眼见如此，冲着空气挥了挥手道："Yeah yeah whatever. You take your time!"
