　　“Take a chip.How about take a chip?”

　　When I first heard this,I thought it referred to potato chips.

　　However,I was wrong.It exactly meant the electronic ones.

　　No one knows when the strike began.May be two weeks ago,or they have planned those chaos long before we realized.

　　They,are robots.

　　It seems no signs why they worked normally for a long while then suddenly announced they wouldn’t work for human any more.Their leader,the robot0935,declared that human beings hadn’t enjoyed evolution for so long and they were no longer fit for the nature environment,therefore mankind ought to give in the right of governing this world.

　　“If you are human,take a chip or take a shot.Why not a chip?It would relieve your huge stress towards the world of massive information.No need for wasting life time to take in those you called knowledge but then never used before your death.It’s a good bargain,isn’t it?”0935smiled,as if he was promoting some fascinating products.

　　Up to now,the robots haven’t committed anything violent.But they have already cut off the military sources.TV,internet and newspapers reported nothing else.Human experts argued that there might be a virus in the new chips.But who have invented it?Oh,that was Dr.Jok,who reported to have died last weekend in his apartment,right before the strike.

　　I switched off the TV,feeling dizzy and tired.Three days ago,I woke up in the morning and saw Ella,my dear domestic robot,stood by my side.

　　“The breakfast is OK?”I asked as I put on my coat.

　　“How about take a chip?”She asked.

　　“Well,I don’t feel like to eat something too dry for breakfast.It’s not healthy,either.”I replied,“Just milk and bread,Ella.”

　　She stood straightly without her eyes shining.“I’m not Ella.I’m0672.”

　　“Oh,darling,I’ve got to work soon or the boss would fire me.Don’t kidding me at the moment,please.”I laughed,putting on my tie.

　　“I mean it.”She looked up at me as I stood up surprisingly,handed out her hand,with a piece of circuits,dedicate and fascinating.

　　But all I realized was that I fell into a nightmare.I tried to wake up,but no use.I let out a cry and rushed out,running a few miles then stopped to rest by a dustbin.

　　A green robot,the road cleaner,was behind it.When I saw him,he said the same sentence:“Take a chip.”

　　I was frightened then hurried away towards the Woods Park.I was panic and my brain went blank.I thought that there were a group of robots searching for me,shouting about the chip with a electronic tone.

　　I found no way to go and waited for shot seeing the robots approaching me.Well,someone dragged me into the woods.

　　“Who are you?”I waited till the robots gone,then asked.It was a girl.She answered:“I’m Fiona,my father is Dr.Jok.”I thanked for her rescue and told her my name is Tony.I was going to work for gaining my university tuition then got involved with the chaos.

　　“Now,come with me.You must help me to find the true criminal.”She said.
