Those who study medicine cannot become doctors, and vice versa. The path of Traditional Chinese Medicine is not open to you. Every industry requires its qualifications. What path will you take if you cannot obtain the required qualifications?"

　　“你非中医药大学毕业，也非学的中医。医学领域更严格，学药的不能考医师资格证，学医的不能考药师资格证，学中药的不能考西药的，学西药的不能考中药。中医这条路在你面前是不通的。各行各业都有自己需要考的资格证，如果从业资格证都考不了，前路如何走？”

　　"You are just unaware of it. Lineage, self-study, and apprenticeship can all take the exam to get qualifications. However, there are some limitations, and you can only specialize in one or two aspects of treatment, such as liver disease, kidney disease, heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, etc., which are classified according to Western medical standards. Over time, you can take multiple specialties. In truth, real traditional Chinese medicine is not segmented like this. It only distinguishes between gynecology and pediatrics."

　　“那你就不了解了，现在家传、自学、师承都可以考，只不过有个限定，中医专长医师资格证一次只能考一两个方面的诊疗特长，比如肝病、肾病、心脏病、高血压、糖尿病等等按照西医标准划分的某一些专科病。时间长了可以考多科。其实真正的中医不是这样分科的，真正的中医只分妇科和儿科。”

　　“现在的政策真好，鼓励中医传承？”

　　"Not only do they encourage apprenticeship, but they also encourage lineage and self-study. Traditional Chinese medicine is classified into several major treatment methods: Stone needle therapy, acupuncture, cupping, massage, and herbal therapy. There are also highly advanced medical techniques like Zhuyou arts, which are beyond the reach of ordinary people."

　　“不光鼓励师承，也鼓励家传、自学，中医就分砭石、针灸、拔罐、推拿、汤剂几大类治法。还有非常高阶的医术祝由术，现在一般人学不来。”

　　"Actually, your major in college is excellent. And it could lead you into the financial industry, which is closely related to money."

　　“其实你大学的专业很好，可以进入金融圈，这个圈层离钱很近。”

　　"I know, but financial management often involves exploiting the lower class to benefit capital tycoons."

　　“我知道，但是财务管理都是替资本财阀掠夺底层民众。”

　　"If you become familiar with their game, you might be able to help more people. The investment industry is high-end, but it requires talent. An ordinary undergraduate can earn a substantial income in the financial world after a few years. You should have been part of the elite with your talents and achievements. Pursuing Traditional Chinese Medicine might limit your potential to become an ordinary person, making it very difficult to join the elite class with slim hopes. In the world, everyone is chasing fame and fortune. Claiming to be indifferent to fame and fortune is just self-deception. However, some people have principles and boundaries, while others do not."

　　“你如果熟悉了他们的游戏规则，说不定能帮助更多人，投资行业很高大上，但是需要天赋。一个普通的本科生，在金融界混个几年，收入都很可观。你本该进入精英阶层的，以你的天赋和成绩。中医这条路我感觉会把你变成普通人，进入精英阶层会非常难，希望渺茫。世人皆追名逐利，若说人生在世淡泊名利皆是自欺欺人。只是有人有底线有原则，有人没有而已。”

　　"Most Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners are not after fame and fortune."

　　“中医师们大多数不会去争名利。”

　　"That's because Traditional Chinese Medicine demands focused skill development. Each profession has its common characteristics. For example, those studying languages require years of dedicated practice. However, life is inherently competitive – survival of the fittest. Understanding yourself better involves recognizing your strengths and weaknesses to make better choices."

　　“因为中医需要静下心来打磨自己的技术，职业需要，每个行业都有自己的共性，就如那些学语言的，也是需要很多年静心打磨技术的，可是人生来就是要竞争的，弱肉强食，适者生存。更好的认识自己是要更清楚自身的长处，优缺点，才能做出扬长避短的选择。”
