4、Never Give in

　　The protagonist, Andy Dufresen, faces a lot of difficulties during his imprisonment. His promising future changes drastically when he has to spend the rest of his life in a gloomy jailhouse. During his first few years in prison, he is assaulted by a group of prisoners who sexually harass others. Andy is beaten on a regular basis. This doesn’t get better until the warden finds out he could use Andy to laundry his money. However, although the warden provides Andy better working condition, he is also the one who destroys the last hope for Andy to right the wrong. The warden kills the witness who accidentally knows the real murderer in order to control Andy so that he continues to gain advantage. This series of incidents do not break Andy’s hope, on the contrary, Andy successfully avenges by revealing the warden’s dirty money to a local newspaper after he escapes from the Shawshank. If Andy can endures all these why should schoolchildren commit suicide just because of little pressure The mental well-being of our teenagers becomes more and more brittle. Their future is worrisome in a more competitive society. The Shawshank Redemption tells us with hope and determination, we can surely overcome any obstacles we confront in our life. So I want to recommend this movie to more teenagers, I hope they could be more optimistic after watching the Shawshank Redemption. Life comes only once, it cannot be restored, so don’t give up so easily.
