Time goes by. We have changed and our teachers have also changed a lot. Mr. King has changed most. Mr. King is our teacher. His hair used to be all black when were in Grade One, but now he has a lot of white hair. He’s getting older while we are growing up. He used to walk very fast, but now not. He used to be kind with us, too. But now he becomes stricter and stricter. All the students in my class don’t like the “changed Mr. King”.
By talking with teacher, I know the biggest problem of teacher is that the students don’t obey the rules. If I were the teacher, I’d not be too strict with my students. I would regard them as my friends. I’d not criticize them when they break the rules. I’d communicate with them instead.
I don’t agree that students should be allowed to wear their own clothes. I also think students should be allowed to choose subject that they are interested in, expect English, math and Chinese. Of course students shouldn’t be allowed to get their ears pierced and drive. They are still young.
In the end, I hope our school will be better and better, all the students can get good grades in this exam.
5： The changes of Mr. King
I have been getting along with Mr. King for about two years. He has changed a lot in the last two years. He used to like wearing a pair of jeans and a shirt, but now he often wears a suit. It makes him look serious. He used to be friendly to us, but now he’s strict with us. I think the reason is that we are in Grade 3.
I found that Mr. King didn’t used to have lots of worries. But now he has to deal with too many problems. For example, many classmates don’t give homework to him on time. Or they often copy others’ homework in the early morning. Sometimes, some boys fight with each other. Those things make him angry and anxious. If I were him, I’d call the students’ parents and then I’d teach the students. I’d tell them it’s bad for them to do these things.
Just now, I said Mr. King was strict with us. I think he doesn’t need to be so strict. If I were him, I’d allow the students to have more time to relax and play after class. It’s good for the next class, or students would feel sleepy in class. Of course, I wouldn’t leave too much homework. On weekends, I’d take students to have a barbecue in the park. How interesting it is! So that they’d concentrate on their studies more. And I’d allow them to wear their own clothes. But I wouldn’t allow them to drive. Because they aren’t serious enough at that age. I wish Mr. King would like to do some of those things.

I think teachers have many trouble. They have to work hard, teach hard, after that they have to cook for their family. They are very tired. They have trouble about someone talking in class when they teach, and someone doesn’t do their homework very often, or someone always copies others’ homework. If I were a teacher, I would call the students’ parents and tell them about their children. Or I would give him a test to do. But I think we should deal with our problems by thinking something worst. If I were a teacher, I would give them some strict rules. For example, they shouldn’t be allowed to get their ears pierced. They shouldn’t be allowed to drive, because they aren’t serious enough at that age. But I think they should be allowed to make their own decisions and choose their own clothes. And they shouldn’t be allowed to talk in class and be late for class. They should be allowed to eat lunch in the classroom. They shouldn’t be allowed to fight.
