巨人歌利亚（Goliath），生卒年不详，是非利士人用来对抗以色列人的雇佣兵。他被一个叫大卫的男孩用投石弹弓杀死。这个故事记录在邓布利多当校长时其办公室的一本圣经中。

Goliath was a mercenary Giant employed by the Philistines against the Israelites. He was killed by a young boy called David, with a slingshot. The events surrounding this were recorded in the Bible, a book that Albus Dumbledore kept in his office during his tenure as Headmaster.
