5、Process Planning in Life and DataCamp Donates Scholarship through Women in Big Data Chapter 2 Proces ...

  • I once said that I would share my learning progress with readers to give them a specific demonstration of "process planning". I have listened to some courses on the DataCamp platform intermittently in the past three days, so I think it is time to start.
I have personally learned some knowledge in the computer field, but I prefer computer hardware. I have not studied database technology specifically. I only know that database technology is widely used in the business field: I obtained a bachelor's degree in economics more than ten years ago, and big data is too important for economic development. Anyone with professional knowledge in economics, even if they do not understand programming languages, will more or less know something about big data.
Under this premise, according to the "process planning" working method, I did not start from the most basic course, but directly clicked on a slightly more advanced course. There are two reasons for doing this:
      1. Not starting from the most basic course is to measure whether I am interested in this knowledge. Learning a new technology requires a lot of time. The sooner I find out that I don’t like what I’m learning, the more I can avoid wasting time. Moreover, this learning opportunity is very valuable. If I can’t make good use of it, I should give it to someone who really likes it.
      2. I only start with slightly more advanced courses to assess my level of knowledge in this area. I regard "learning SQL courses on DataCamp" as a work task, and one of the purposes of "process planning" is to maximize efficiency and shorten task time. If I can easily understand slightly more advanced courses, I can skip the most basic SQL common sense learning part and shorten the completion time of this work task.
Fortunately, although I didn’t understand what the teacher was saying at all, I found that I was still interested in this course.
Please don't get me wrong, I don't mean that the teacher is not good. On the contrary, the teacher of my first course on Datacamp, Ms. Maham Faisal Khan, was very detailed and serious. Unfortunately, I didn't know anything about SQL (I got a score of 0 in the first test I took on the website), which made me more eager to learn about SQL.
So, I started to do what I could do at the moment: to find all the basic knowledge about SQL that I could find, select the parts that I could understand to learn, and increase my knowledge of SQL technology, such as some professional terms, concepts and definitions.
And this is one of the preliminary work of starting a task with "process planning": measuring the degree of adaptation between myself and the task.
