　　——序
　　Power said to the world,\"You er mine\"
　　The world kept it prisoner on her throne.
　　Love said to the world,\"I am thine\"
　　The world gave it the freedom of her house.

　　The sunshine smiles upon the winter
　　days of my heart never doubting of its spring flowers.
　　Clouds come floating into my life from
　　other days no longer to shed rain
　　or usher storm but to give colour to my sunset sky.

　　The fish in the water is silent,
　　The animal on the earth is noisy,
　　The bird in the air is singing.
　　But man has in him the silence of the sea,
　　The noise of earth and the music of the air.

　　My thoughts shimmer with these
　　shimming leaves and my heart
　　sings with the touch of this
　　sunlight;my life is glad to be
　　dloating with all things into
　　the blue of space,it to the dark of time.

　　The earth hums to me today in the sun,
　　Like a woman at her sprinning,
　　Some ballad of the ancient time in a forgotten tongue.
