2、第一章·启

　　Early in the morning, as the bell rang, Lucas Davis picked up the phone in his office.
　　清晨，随着铃声的响起，卢卡斯接起了办公室里的电话。

　　It didn't look like it was going to be an easy day, either. Lucas hung up the phone, jerked his brown trench coat from the back of his chair, grabbed the purse from the couch, and left the office in a hurry. It was 9:00 am when they arrived at the scene, and the bumpy ride had caused Lucas to retch uncontrollably, but since he still had a job to do, Lucas took a couple gulps of water and drilled through the cordon. "Chief Doug Castillo, what's the situation?" Lucas looked around, it was the garden of a rich man's house, surrounded by shrubs blooming with roses of all colours. The street lights along the paths were scrubbed for fear of polluting the clean roses. "The deceased's name was Abelard Stark, owner of this manor, 47 years of age, and has three children. Here! Over there!" Castillo lifted his chin slightly at the cordon beyond.
　　看来今天也不是轻松的一天啊，卢卡斯挂了电话，从椅背上抽走了棕色的风衣，拎上沙发上的皮包，便火急火燎的离开了办公室。抵达现场时已是上午9点，一路上的颠簸使得卢卡斯不住地反胃，但由于还有工作，卢卡斯喝了两口水便钻过了警戒线。 “卡斯迪罗局长，什么情况？” 卢卡斯环顾着四周，这是一处富人家的花园，四周的灌木开满了各色的月季小径边的路灯被擦得一尘不染，生怕污染了那洁净的月季似的。“死者名叫阿伯拉德·斯塔克Abelard Stark，这座庄园的主人，47岁，有3个孩子。喏！那边呢！” 卡斯迪罗微微对着警戒线外抬了下下巴。

　　In haste to enter the scene, Lucas hadn't even noticed the crying woman over there, with her three children. The tallest was named Diedrich, the oldest of the three, 23 years old, dressed in a dark blue suit, about six-foot-four and with a handsome face perfectly calculated to be the dream man of contemporary teenage girls. The second eldest child, Wadheri appears to be much more casual, a loose sweater with loose work pants, if the oldest is a fluttering gentleman, then the second is that unruly boy. The youngest was a girl named Alisha, 15 years of age, with a white saree that made her look like an angel, but couldn't hide her worried and sad face. As for their mother, she had long since burst into tears. With a quick glance, Lucas moved his eyes back to the body at the scene.
　　由于急着进入现场，卢卡斯都没注意到那边哭泣的女人，和她的三个孩子。个子最高的叫迪德里希，是三个孩子中最年长的，23岁，穿着深蓝色西装，大约一米九的身高和英俊的脸庞完全就算当代少女的梦中情人。老二瓦尔戴瑞就显得随意很多，宽松的卫衣搭配着宽松的工装裤，若说老大是翩翩公子，那老二就是那不羁少年。年纪最小的是个女孩名叫艾莉莎，15岁的年纪，白色的纱裙衬得她像个天使，却也遮不住她那担心又悲伤的脸庞。至于他们的母亲，早已哭成泪人。卢卡斯快速扫了一眼，便把视线移回了现场的尸体。

　　"Body temperature was taken, estimated time of death 1:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. The exact time of death will have to wait for the coroner's report." Castillo continued to describe the scene.
　　"What about the murder weapon?"
　　"There are many wounds on the body, both sharp and blunt, the preliminary determination of the fatal injury is blood loss caused by a sharp object piercing the heart, the specific murder weapon has not been found for the time being."
　　"Then let the search section find it and take it directly to the test well, is there a locked suspect?”
　　"At the time of the crime the only people who were in this manor were the deceased's wife, three children and a butler, the body was found by the wife, she had the habit of waking up early to take a walk."
　　"And the butler? How is it that he has not been seen?"
　　"He, ah, was ill a few days ago, and is still in bed! But for the time being, we don't know if anyone else has been in or out of this manor, the surveillance was destroyed, the technical department said it would take about 6 hours for the records to be restored." Lucas nodded, he didn't know much about these specialised things; he could only take his time and wait for the results to come out, as a detective, his task was to go through all the clues so as to identify the real criminal."Find a separate room, invite the deceased's wife over." Lucas instructed, a one-on-one conversation could always hear quite a few useful clues.
　　“尸温测过了，预估死亡时间凌晨1点到2点，具体死亡时间要等法医报告出来。”卡斯迪罗继续介绍着现场情况。
　　“凶器呢？”
　　“尸体身上的伤口很多，锐器钝器都有，初步判定致命伤是由锐器刺穿心脏导致的失血过多，具体凶器暂时还没有找到。”
　　“那让搜查科找到后直接拿去检验好了，有锁定的嫌疑人吗？”
　　“案发当时在这座庄园内的就只有死者的妻子、三个孩子和一位管家，尸体是妻子发现的，她有早起散步的习惯。”
　　“那管家呢？怎么没看到他？”
　　“他啊，前几天就病了，现在还躺在床上呢！不过暂时还不知道有没有其他人出入过这座庄园，监控被破坏了，技术部门说大概6小时后才能恢复记录。”卢卡斯点点头，这些专业性的东西他也不太懂，只能慢慢等结果出来，作为侦探，他的任务就是通过种种线索，从而确定真正的罪犯。“找个单独的房间，请死者的妻子过来吧。”卢卡斯吩咐道，一对一谈话总是能听到不少有用的线索。
