4、回怼网络世界对未成年的危害

　　Dear Sir,
　　I am writing in reference to the letter published in your newspaper regarding the fact that the modern world has caused a serious influence on the youth.I am fully concerned about the one-sided view of the letter and would like to express my counter-opinion to the biased view.
　　First of all, the main problem with this letter is that the writer does not provide any solid information that the modern world, including the latest technology and recreation, has only a negative effect.The writer simply depicted the past life he possessed in order to claim that the modern teenagers are in a harmful environment.
　　In fact, it's completely unacceptable.Firstly, the sic-tech revolution and industrial transformation are inevitable.The times have put their unique stamp on the world, so what we should do is adopt a peaceful spirit.Secondly, contemporary young people can also live as the writer suggests.The only thing that has changed is the way we read, chat and interact with the world. We can browse through billions of books in electronic libraries or communicate with people thousands of miles away in chat boxes, all of which weren't brought to us in the past.Young people can use the Internet not only for entertainment, but also to learn, understand and observe the word.Each generation has its own method of entertainment.How can we negate time because of different ways?
　　In conclusion, the letter is not so convincing as it stands.I have faith in the world and the generation and there is more to come.
