1、第 1 章 某

　　某一种艺术上的浪漫，厚重的窗帘被打开露出了欧式落地窗，高高悬挂在天花板的灯散发着昏黄的灯光，壁炉摆放在地毯上，壁炉里燃烧的木炭，红红的火舌舔着黝黑的木炭，不时炸出噼啪的火花。惨淡的月光从窗外透进来的时候，毫不掩饰地泛出阴冷刺骨的寒意。办公桌前的几人显得更加阴冷，Addams一家和Aldrich一家坐在校长办公桌前，Weems女士跟Addams夫人叙着旧。

　　“I guess you were born on Wednesday.”
　　(我猜你是星期三出生的。)

　　“I was born on Friday the day 13 was born.”
　　(我是13号出生那天星期五。)

　　再之后Weems女士终于进入正题，开始审阅两位女生的个人简历。

　　“Naivermore does not usually accept students in the middle of the semester.”
　　(奈弗莫尔学院通常不会在学期中段接收学生。)

　　“In view of the excellent results of the two students.”
　　(鉴于两位学生成绩优异。)

　　“ The Addams Family had a long history with the school, and the Addams Family had a special contribution to make to the school.I talked to the school board about the break-in.”
　　(以及亚当斯家族与学校的悠久深远，还有Addams家族对学校的特殊贡献。我和校董谈过了这次破格录取。)

　　“On Wednesday I\'ll put you in the Ophelia Room where your mother and I used to live.Alta, since you\'re in the middle of the semester, the dorm is full.I\'ll put you in the Ophelia Room, too.Don\'t worry, Ophelia Hall has a second floor, big enough for the three of you.”
　　(星期三我把你安排到了我与你母亲曾住过的寝室，奥菲利亚厅。图阿尔塔鉴于你是在学期中进入学院的第二个，寝室已满，我也把你安排在了奥菲利亚厅。放心，奥菲利亚厅有一个二楼足以容纳你们三个。)

　　奥菲利亚厅

　　Weems女士推开门，鲜艳夺目的玻璃窗夺人眼眸。还有一个格外开朗的室友Enid·Sinclair，那个开朗的室友带着她们去了注册办公室。一路上Enid不停地介绍着学院的往事与八卦。

　　“Hey, Enid.I have a big rumor about two of your roommates.It was said that on that Wednesday she ate human flesh, and that Tuarta, she would burn people alive”
　　(嘿，伊妮德。我有你的两个新室友的大传闻。那个叫的星期三会吃人肉，那个图阿尔塔会活活烧死人。)

　　“On the contrary, I actually cut up the bodies of my victims and feed them to my pets.”
　　(恰恰相反，其实我会把受害者的尸体切成肉片拿去喂我的宠物。)

　　“You\'re half right. I\'ll just burn his hair off and burn his scalp.Let him not grow hair in this life, do a bald head.be so grieved as to wish one were dead.”

　　(有一半对，我会烧没他的头发，烧坏他的头皮，让他的头发这辈子也长不出来，做一个秃头，痛不欲生。)

　　“Ajax，These are my new roommates.”
　　(阿贾克斯这是我的新室友们。)

　　新室友Enid强颜欢笑的拉着两人走了。Alta跟着家人来到门口，她的母亲，一个温柔的女人，上前拥抱她，父亲拍了拍她的肩膀，点头示意母亲。扣上帽子，他们坐上车。油门的轰隆声，刺激着耳膜。通过那个黑色的沉破的大门。
