While I was watching this movie,I felt as if I were making a journey.During this spiritual journey,I gained keen enjoyment of delicious French food and scanned two women's unordinary life.
From my point of view, the movie is completely colorful and delightful.It tells parallel stories of Julia Child's story of beginning a master cook and Julie Powell's one-year-project of cooking through Julia 's cookbook.At the end of the movie,Julie found the ture meaning of life.
I just think of what Forrest Gump said"Life was like a box of chocolates,you never know what you’re gonna get."I realized that the only thing predictable about life is its unpredictability.Julie's life is full of dramaticism.At the beginning,she is just a office worker who has a geat deal of heavy work to do every day and she is also a loser of writing.But at last,she publishes her own book and establishes reputation. It's will-power ,loveand courage that help her to finish one-year-project.As far as I'm concerned,Julie's creed------"La vie est ailleurs"is the most important. This sentence translates into English is "Life is elsewhere".Julie is not satisfied with her life,ao she creates a new life through cooking food.She even imagines that Julia lives with her and gives her earnestly instruct.In other words,her life is intelaced with Julia's life from this special way.
It is an optimistic attitude to life.Sometimes it can drag us out of a difficult position.Like Julie,when her marriage buckles under the strain,she doesn't let herself get depressed .She tries her best to mend fences with her husband.She gains sufficient courage from this life's creed .
Life is elsewhere !
We should treasure the happiness of our life.Don't let our life slip our fingers by living in the past or for the future.By living our life one day at a time,we live ALL the days of our life.
Life is a do-it-yourself project.
