　　What I want to say is that my classmate Lily asked me for advice when she was in trouble. So I told her a story。

　　The leading character is Cao Chong. He was the son of Cao Cao, a famous man in Chinese history.Once Cao Cao was presented with an elephant, and he wanted to know the weight of it. Although no one have a good way to solve this problem, Cao Chong presented an idea of taking the elephant to the boat, and when the ship was stable, he carved a mark on the side of the boat level with the water. Then ask people to pull the elephant, and put the stone piece by piece to the ship. Finally, he asked someone to weigh all the stones and add them up to get the mass of the elephant.

　　I was impressed by the story because I think Caochong solved this problem in a smart way with these two reasons. Firstly,this method can calculate the weight of an elephant at the lowest cost. Otherwise, they have to create an sophistcated equipment with such more money. Secondly, in this way, Caochong doen't need to harm the elephant. Otherwise, one of the solution proposed was to chop the elephant in to pieces.

　　I want to tell her through this story that she can think from different angles when she is in trouble. And we should take into account various factors, not to solve this difficulty but damage other interests.

　　Lily gained a lot because of the story I told her. She finally solved the problem, which made me feel very proud.

　　困难决定成功

　　A hard decision that I once made that I would like to talk about was choosing to study abroad.

　　This decision was made when I was in the second year of my junior year。Because I suppose that studying far away from my hometown means visiting different places, which will be beneficial to me for the following reasons.

　　First, living far away from my hometown can help open up my mind because I will have a chance to get in touch with different people and cultures, and therefore, to embrace many differences such as different values, beliefs, ideas, and lifestyles. This experience can not only make me become tolerant to difference, but also allow me to discover and live a life I feels comfortable with.

　　Also, visiting different places can enrich my experience because I will see and contact with something new and different from my own society, making me share what I has gone through with others. Such experience will allow me to become outgoing and sociable and enable me to make more friends.

　　This decision was difficult because I had to leave my parents to study in a foreign country far away from home, which meant I needed to live on my own.

　　To be honest, this decision was very difficult at the beginning, but after learning about the benefits of studying abroad, I was very happy with my decision.

　　What I'm going to tell you is that I used an app on my phone to push me to exercise. To push myself to exercise, I downloaded this app a month ago。Because I think sport is really important and useful in various aspects.

　　The experience I want to talk about is when I went to Huangshan with my parents during the National Day holiday last year. We went there on the 6th and planned to stay there for one night, then came back on the 7th because the holiday ended on the 8th. Most of the trip went exactly as we had planned, except for the day we returned.

　　When we came back, we passed the section of the Hangzhou Beltway which was particularly congested, basically the car could not move. My father turned on the navigation, which told us that the road was congested for several kilometers, but we didn't have a second way back, so we had to wait.

　　The one I want to talk about is a pair of Bluetooth headphones I lost in the school playground five months ago.

　　We were running in the playground that day, so I took my headphones off. Because my headphones might fall off while running, I took them off beforehand to avoid that. But after the run, I forgot my headphones and just took my coat back to the classroom. By the time I remembered to return to the playground, the headphones were gone.
