5、Cooking Accident ...

Night falls.
Ceci slowly walks out of the laboratory. There is a light going through her wrist. She is still absorbed in her work.
“What an intractable（棘手的）case.” She talks to herself, with a slight sign which is hardly heard.
Suddenly, the fish in her refrigerator（冰箱） occurs to her, remembering her special guests, she hurries to home. Although there is no too much time left, Ceci still decides to buy some beverage and dessert for dinner, she wants it to be a perfect dinner.
Ceci wanders besides the freezer（冷冻库）in the supermarket, she chooses the Mojito that she and Kula like, then she also buy a bottle of grape juice, in case that Hyottoko only likes soft drink. The most troublesome work is choosing the dessert. She doesn’t have any idea about what kinds of dessert a man would like. She begins to thinking of her father. When she was a little child, she had tasted her father’s chocolate cake, she would call it “medicine” instead of “cake”, the bitter black chocolate covered the whole cake and hid the delicious cream…… Oh, father also loves black coffee for breakfast. So Ceci choses two boxes of ice cream, strawberry for herself, chocolate for Kyottoko.
Once backing home, Ceci asks Bombo to cook,”Bombo! Bombo! Hurry up! We don’t have much time.” But there is no answer as usual. “Bombo” She raises her voice. Silent again. Ceci is confused until she walks into her bedroom. She finds that bombo is asleep, today is the time of annual inspection（年检） for bombo. Every robot registered in government has annual inspection to make sure proper functioning. Bombo only can be awaken after finishing the inspection.
“Oh no. How can I forget bringing you to do the inspection! What a stupid girl I am!” This is a “disaster” for Ceci. With the considerate care from Bombo for a dozen years, Ceci almost forget how to cook a meal. However, there is only one hour left, she doesn’t have any other choice but to depend on herself.
Rapidly, one hour passes. The only result Ceci has is the messy in the kitchen.
“Dingdong~” The doorbell rings.
“Coming!” Ceci washes her hands, runs to door and opens it.
“Hey, Kyottoko!” She tries her best to give him a beam of delight（高兴的笑容）, to hide the failure in the past hour.
“Hi, Ceci.” Kyottoko gives her a shy but warm smile in return. “I’ve bring some Mojito for you. Kula said you like it.”
“You’re so thoughtful. There is no such thing as a byOB.（bring your own booze/bottle,客人自带酒水）Emm……I’m sorry that you have to wait for a while. Actually, I have faced some trouble, the meal is not ready yet. If you don’t mind, could you sit on sofa and watch TV, waiting for the last dishes. No more than ten minutes, I promise.” Ceci knows she is laying.
“Of course. I’m not hungry at all. Don’t worry.”Kyottoko answers.
Ceci backs into her kitchen and begins to cook fish. She decides to steam the fish, this is the easiest way she thinks. The water is added, the pot lid（锅盖） is on, and all that remains is to wait. Out of curiosity, she glances at the living room through the transparent kitchen door. Kyottoko is sitting straightly on the sofa, staring at the far place in front of him, with his two hands putting on his lap. “He’s likes a soldier who is being examined.” Ceci thinks.
She is becoming interested in him. Then she bents down and props（支撑） her chin on the table, watching him liberally. His blond hair is like Kula’s, s/mooth and submissive（柔顺的）. His skin is white, but his cheeks are very red, and they are conspicuous（显眼的）. His eyes is different from Kula’s. Kula has big bright bule eyes, his eyes is not big, with single eyelids（单眼皮）. “I thought I like double eyelids, but now it turns out not to be so.” Ceci is completely absorbed in her admiration for his appearance, not noticing her fish.
“What's that s/mell” Suddenly Kyottoko looks into the kitchen and catches her eyes.
