5、我的朋友Ariel

　　My friend, Ariel
　　If the essence of Albert Einstein is simplicity, then Ariel’s is quietness, though she has nothing to do with Albert Einstein.
　　Ariel is very versatile. She loves painting and she can paint very well from my perspective of view. One day when we had lunch together—we always eat together because we are in the same class—I talked her: “When you become a famous painter, I would like to be your agent and then you can pay me lots of money, and so, at that time both of us will be wealthy.” Then she nodded her head. I really hope she can achieve her dream so that I will live a comfortable life.
　　With winter coming, the day becomes colder and colder. There is always a thin layer of spray on the window. Ariel can create a beautiful smiling face with only several lines which makes me admire so much.
　　She loves novel as well as US TV series which renders her quite scholarly in her behavior and makes people think her gentile and cultivated. Jin Yong is her favorite writer while Friends is the dearest TV series to her heart. One day her mind was wandering when our teacher was lecturing. Don’t ask me how could I know that she was not listening to our teacher. Because every time she is idling time, she will sit still without the slightest blink of her eye. Just at that time, our teacher asked: “Who is the father of Kublai Khan, the emperor of Yuan Dynasty” “Tului!” she answered spontaneously which threatened me because I wandering too at that time.
　　She is procrastinated but careful. Every time she is asked to deliver a presentation, she will not finish it until the last day. However, she could always hand it in timely. And this procrastination can also be seen as one of her merits because it helps her to remember everything without any omission. She is like a CUTE kangaroo who takes everything in its pocket. I emphasis cute here because I am afraid that she will be angry with me because her temper is also like a kangaroo, sweet-tempered but sometimes a little serious.
　　After finishing the article, it reminds that we need to preview an article called “Will we have any privacy left” It strikes me that whether I can tell others these things so I ask Ariel who lives in the upper bunk of me: “What if I tell something private about you to others Or is there something I know about you can be called privacy” for fear that she will hit me—That’s hurt! “No.” she answered without any hesitation. Yes, she is an innocent and mild girl whom I love very much.
　　How shall I sum up what kind of person Ariel is I can find no adequate words. But you can imagine a fairy with perfect features. That is exactly what Ariel is.
