2、首都Reykjavík [不好意思

　　[不好意思! 我把Freya小姐來的日子弄錯了, Thursday變成Tuesday, 剛才接了她由Reykjavík打來的電話, 她在機場等了整個早上, 現在剛到這旅館休息, 我在電話中講我們會派人去接她, 但…..對不起Isaac, 剛巧Galton 和Omar都去了北邊採集樣本, 沒有三、四星期也不會回來, 而有車子又認得去Reykjavík的路也只有Iscca, 所以……所以.….] Isaac邊駕車邊回想那位除研究的事外, 經常弄錯事情的教授。

　　“真笨!” 居然把一個大美人遺忘在他鄉, 正在駕車的Iscca眼角輕輕地瞄了瞄助手位上的紙張, 這是教授給他有關Freya的資料 - Freya Odin在Lunds Universitet畢業後到日本實習一年並拿了獎學金, 後更伸請來這兒的研究所。

　　“的確是位美人, Freya…..被丈夫遺棄的女神。”

　　“Freya小姐….. Freya小姐…...有啦! 但她剛去了The Blue Lagoon, 說不定今晚才回來, 先生要不要….....”

　　“我在這兒等她。”Isaac一向都不喜歡癈話, 所以沒有多想就在旅館的Lobby沙發上打開手提電腦打發時間, 由Húsavík鴐車到Reykjavík起碼也須八小時, 可是Isaac只用六個半小時到, 可想而知他鴐車速度是何等的快! 但也很令人倦的。不過他也想不到這妮子的膽子不少, 「留落異鄉」不但不慌不驚, 還有興致跑去泡溫泉, 當然Iceland的The Blue Lagoon是舉世聞名, 尤其在美容上, 而且也幸好Iceland亦是全球罪案率最底的國家之一, 所以Iscca在聽到Freya一人外出時也不太膽心。 “早知如此就不用趕過來Reykjavík。”

　　Isaac最討厭的是在他注專工作時來了一個不適當的電話吵個不停, 無奈再討厭也不能把人家的電話掛了。

　　大約過了五、六分鐘之不, 對方仍未打算收線, 而且因不是旅行旺季所以這種汽車旅館更不會有服務生長註, 終於Iscca忍不住走去櫃面時, 服務生才急急腳跑出來接聽。

　　“對不起……對不起……先生, 我來接聽。”

　　當Isaac從回工作不久, 服務生鐵青著臉來到Isaac前, “先生, 那位Freya小姐是妳的朋友嗎? 剛才醫院來電說Freya小姐在The Blue Lagoon
　　昏倒了, 你是否需要去看看? 這是醫院的地址。”
