Angel: Damon, do you really love Elena？

在Stefan和Elena沉重的讨论着关于“old ripper day”的时候，Damon, Angel和Ric聚在Grill喝酒。
Damon: ”Other than the lecture on the history of mystic falls, did you get anything out of
Elijah？”
Ric:” No, it was boring.”
Angel:” Really？ I thought you are the history teacher.”
Ric:” Ah, only to make things worse, Jenna thinks he’s charming.”
Damon:” You sound jealous.”
Ric望天。
Angel:” I think you should tell her.”
Ric:” You do？”
Angel:” Of course. Then Elijah will never be a threat to you. I mean any normal girl would choose another human being, not the thousand-year freaky vampire.”
Damon眯眼，Ric继续望天。
Damon把歪了的楼扭回来:” All I need is a right opportunity.”
Angel:” Damon——”
Damon:” Okay.”
Ric:” What are you talking about？”
Damon:” We have agreed, talk first, kill later.”
Jenna和Elijah走进了Grill。
Damon:” Ah, there’s Jenna with her new boyfriend. Hi.”
Jenna:” Hey guys. Oh,you must be Angel. You are even cutter than I imaged.”
Angel起身握手:” And you must be the hottest aunt ever. And Elena’s favourite, no doubt.”
Jenna开心的笑。
Damon:” So I hear you two had quite a meeting of historical minds today.”
Jenna:” Yeah, I guess you could say that.”
Ric:” Well, as much as I’d love to continue this; I’ve got papers to grade.”
Ric要起身走人，Angel说:” You know what？ We should continue this. Let’s have a dinner party.”
Damon:” Great idea. I’ll be happy to host. Say tonight, maybe？”
Ric瞪那一唱一和双人组一眼，正要拒绝，Jenna打断了他:” Yeah, I’m free.”
Elijah:” It’d be a pleasure.”
Damon:” Great.”
Damon和Angel离开Grill。
Angel:” And the next destination is——the tomb.”
Damon喷了口气。
墓地前，Angel站住了。
Damon:” You are not come with me？”
Angel给Damon贴了个小贴纸。
Damon要上手摸Angel:” Where did you put all these stuff？”
Angel:” Stop. Hey,you need to face her anyway.”
Damon又喷了口气，拎着一瓶子血下去了。
墓室里。
Damon:” Drink up, good girl. Wow, that blood did the trick. You’re almost pretty again.”
Katherine:” What is it you want, Damon.”
Damon:” Guess who’s back in town,your old friend, John Gilbert.”
Katherine:” Really. Why.”
Damon:” Says he loves his daughter, wants to protect here from Elijah and big bad Klaus.”
Katherine:” Touching.”
Damon:” Yeah right？ He told me this wives tale about how to kill an original.”
Katherine:” And you want to know if it’s true. If it was, I wouldn’t tell you.”
Damon:” Now why not？ You want Elijah and Klaus dead as much as I do.”
Katherine:” Klaus,yes. Elijah, no. He’s compelled me to stay in here. If he dies, I’m stock forever.”
Damon:” Sucks for you.”
Katherine:” Forget it, Damon. Killing Elijah would be a suicide mission. You can’t do it.”
Damon:” Even with a dagger and a little white oak ash？”
Katherine:” No. Damon, if you kill Elijah, then I’m stuck in here forever.”
Damon:” You’re really scared.”
Katherine:” Jus-s-st get me out of here first, and then I’ll help you. I’ll…I’ll help you kill Elijah, or protect Elena, whatever you want!”
Damon:” I get you out of here and your ass is sipping Klaus-free margaritas on some unknown island somewhere. No way.”
Katherine:” That’s not true. I’ll stay. Damon, please just don’t do it.”
Damon:” Well, thank you,you’ve told me everything I need to know.”
Katherine:” I’ve told you nothing.”
Damon:” You have. You have indeed confirmed that it is possible to kill an original, which I will do tonight. Guess who’s come to dinner.”
就在Damon志得意满的时候，Angel忽然出现在门口。
Angel:” Nice to meet you, Katherine.”
Katherine和Damon都吓了一跳，Damon刚想说什么，Angel冲他摆了摆手。
Angel的忽然出现让Katherine非常疑惑，她的眼睛变成了红色却不敢上前。
Angel沉默了一会，忽然笑了，Damon不解的走到他身边。
就在Damon离开出口之后，Angel终于开口:” Now I see whyyou can toy with them at the same time. God you are good.”
Katherine:” Who are you？”
Angel:” The best lie, is always mixed with truth, isn’t it？”
Damon从刚才起就非常不爽了:” Is she lying？”
Angel翻了个白眼:” What can I say, Damon. The fact that even you can get something from her is suspicious enough.”
Damon很想炸毛，Katherine忍不住笑了起来。
Katherine:” Even though you are pretty good, I have to say, I didn’t lie.”
Angel:” Heard you have been here for a while. So you acted like you know nothing. But there is a loophole.”
Katherine:” I don’t know what you are talking about.”
Angel:” Why don’t you come to me? The first time a vampire smells me, they cannot resist it. Not even an original. Why can you? Let me guess, someone filled you up but he didn’t mention me. So you really not sure what I am. I suppose, the only one I haven’t officially meet, Uncle John.”
Damon终于听懂了:” You bitch!”
Katherine:” That’s the reason？ Seems a little bit weak.”
Angel:” Just a doubt at first. But now I can think that through, I should find it out long time ago.”
Katherine:” You don’t say.”
Angel:” John hate vampires. And suddenly he has a change of heart and wants the Salvatore brothers to protect his loving daughter. What a crap.”
Katherine终于大笑出声:” Oh, finally, some of you have got a brain. So nice to meet you, pretty boy.”
Angel:” The name is Angel. I suppose we can shack next time.”
Katherine:” Why are you working with the Salvatore,you want to save Saint Elena too？”
Angel:” I have to stay in town for personal reason. Since I already knew the vampire mess, gotta pick sides.”
Katherine:” But why choose them. You are twice smart than all of them combines. Why not work with me.”
Katherine风情万种的靠了过来，Damon飞快的把Angel拉到身后:” Enough, Katherine.”
Katherine轻蔑的看了Damon一眼:” Now what are you want to do？”
Angel:” Find out what is true and what isn’t. I heard a very wild story from Elena about you past. Seems everything happens for a reason.”
Katherine:” The conversation is over.”
Damon欲炸毛却屡屡被Angel按住:” That’s enough. Let’s go.”
Angel:” Well, Kathy. If you don’t care about anyone, no one will care about you. And of course,you can always start over.”
Angel刚刚说完，就被Damon拉走了。
回去的路上，Damon情绪十分低落。
Angel:” Oh come on, Damon, she is 500 years older than you. And may I say,you and Stefan got weird taste.”
Damon突然停下了脚步。
Angel:” What？”
Damon:” Why are you working with me. Why are you in my side？”
Angel:” Excuse me？”
Damon:” Don’t say it’s because of witchy Bonnie. Elijah, or Katherine, they all have witches that can help you.”
Angel轻轻叹了一口气:” Damon, did you forget what I said to Elijah.”
Damon: ” Which one？”
Angel:” Elijah, or Katherine, they both look at me like I’m a walking shinning blood bag. But you don’t.”
Damon:” Oh.”
两人继续走了几步，Damon又突然停下来。
Damon:” I, uh, I’m sorry I attacked you when we first met.”
Angel:” Wow, an apology from Damon Salvatore. That must be new.”
Damon轻捶了Angel一拳，也忍不住笑了。
Dinner之前，Elena读完了Jonathan Gilbert的日记，急忙打电话给Angel。
Elena:” Please tell me Damon is not hosting a dinner party to kill Elijah.”
Angel:” Easy girl, he is not. We reached an agreement to talk some information out first.”
Elena:” Thank god. Finally someone can talk some sense to him.”
Angel:” Didn’t I mention killing is the plan B？”
Elena:” Angel no. Jonathan Gilbert stated that any vampire use that dagger to kill an original will be dead as well!”
Angel:” Uh, so many crazy rules.”
Elena:” Are you listening to me!”
Angel:” So original can be killed. Got it.”
Elena:” Careful, Angel.”
Angel:” Don’t worry.”
Damon出现在厨房。
Damon:” What did Elena say？”
Angel:” Original can be killed. But if a vampire do it, he’ll dead as well.”
Damon:” Aha, so that part is true.”
Angel:” Then I guess once Elijah dead, Katherine will be free.”
Damon:” Then he can’t be dead.”
Angel:” Well, if you want…”
Damon:” No.”
Angel:” Just a suggestion.”
Angel转身去调火候，Damon的手伸向盘子。
Angel猛地转回身，重重打在Damon手上:” 嗨！别偷吃！”
Damon抓起盘子闪到另一边，吸血鬼的速度都用上了。
Angel抄起一把菜刀扔了过去。
两人在厨房里打了起来。
Ric无奈的看着这一幕:” This is so weird…”
门铃声终于响起，Damon应门。
Elijah:” Good evening.”
Damon:” Thank you for coming. Please, come in.”
Elijah:” Just one moment. Can I just say that if you have anything less than honourable intentions about how this evening is going to proceed, I suggest you reconsider.”
Damon:” No, nothing, nothing dishonourable. Just getting to know you.”
Elijah:” Hmm. Well, that’s good. Because you know, although Elena and I have this deal, if you so much as make a move to cross me, I’ll kill you and I’ll kill everyone in this house and bring our lovely Angel as my dessert. Are we clear？”
Damon:” Crystal.”
Dinner time.
Jenna:” Ah Angel,you are an incredible cook.”
Angel:” Thanks, great to be appreciated.”
Jenna:” How come you can cook like this？”
Angel:” Well, I’ve been on my own feet.”
Jenna:” Really? Don’t have a-a boyfriend to take care of you？”
Angel:” Still looking. I’m not as lucky as you are.”
Jenna淡淡扫了一眼Ric，果断换话题:” I hate to break to you Damon. But according to Elijah,your family is so not a founder of this town.”
Damon:” Hmm, do tell.”
Elijah:” Well, as I mentioned to Jenna earlier, a faction of settlers migrated from Salem after the witch trials in the 1690s. Over the next hundred years they developed this community where they could feel safe from persecution. ”
Jenna:” Hmm, because they were witches.”
Angel:” That’s why this place is full of magic.”
Elijah:” Well, the lore says that there was this wave of anti-witch hysteria. It broke out in the neighbouring settlement, so these witches were round up. They were tied to stakes in a field together, uh burned. Some sayyou could hear the scream from miles around us.”
Jenna:” I wouldn’t repeat this to the historical society.”
众人笑，Damon和Angel交换一个眼神。
Damon:” So why do you want to know the location of these alleged massacres？”
Elijah:” You know… a healthy historian’s curiosity, of course.”
Damon:” Of course.”
Dinner过后，Ric被Angel推出了门去pitch things up with Jenna。
Damon和Elijah在书房，Angel刚关上门，就接到了Jeremy的电话。。。
Damon:” So let me guess. In addition to the moonstone, the doppelganger, the lion, the witch and the wardrobe,you need to find this witch burial ground.”
Elijah:” Because I feel as though we’ve grown so close, Damon, I’ll tell you yes. Do you know where it is？”
Damon:” Maybe. Tell me why it’s so important.”
Elijah:” We are not that close. It’s quite a collection you have here.”
Damon:” Hmm.”
Elijah:” It’s a funny thing about books. Before they existed, people actually had memories.”
“Really? Then how is yours.”
Angel非常冷淡突兀的出现在门口。
Elijah:” Angel. You seem upset.”
Angel:” Um. And you are the reason.”
Elijah还在疑惑，Angel抬手，瞬间四声枪响，Elijah甚至还没有反应过来就倒在了地上，痛苦的呻吟着。
Angel:” Wooden bullet, immersed with vervain. I’m very creative that way.”
Damon彻底傻眼了。
Angel走近Elijah，毫不犹豫的用另一只手里的木头将Elijah钉在了地上。
Angel:” Now, let’s talk.”
Elijah:” Who-who are y-you!”
Angel:” I’m Angel. And you have no idea what that means.”
Elijah全力集中精神紧紧盯着Angel。
Damon:” No! Angel! He’s trying to compel you!”
Angel:” Relax Damon. It won’t work.”
Angel:” Elijah,you either with us, or you are against us. What will your choice would be？”
Elijah:” I suggest you kill me now or I will hunt you forever.”
Angel:” Let me draw the line here. A, ask your witch give back Bonnie’s powers. B, don’t make any move try to hurt anyone. C, let’s wait for Klaus and kill him together. Are we clear.”
Elijah:” You think I’ll trust you!”
Angel轻轻一笑，拿出了dagger。。。
Angel:” I won’t be that stupid.”
Elijah挣扎着，看着Angel打开瓶塞，将dagger伸了进去。
Angel:” Now,your last chance to choose, this dagger goes into your heart, or Klaus’s.”
Elijah:” Fine! You have my word.”
Angel十分干脆的取出了Elijah身上的子弹，场面十分血腥。
“In a way of apology for being so rude,” Angel拿过一个酒杯，”let’s celebrate our new cooperate.”用刀划破了手腕，香甜的鲜血流进杯子里。
Elijah立刻变了眼色，却没敢上前。
Damon猛地冲了过来，却不是为了咬Angel。
他咬开了自己的手腕，飞快的塞进Angel嘴里。
Angel有一瞬间的迷惑，但没有拒绝Damon的好意。
伤口迅速的愈合，Damon血红的眼睛也慢慢平静了下来。
Damon:” Don’t do this, ever again.”
Angel点了点头，表情十分愉快的将酒杯递给了Elijah。
Elijah一饮而尽，脸色立刻好看了许多。
Elijah:” As tasty as I thought.”
Angel:” Can you call Doctor Martin now？ It’s not a gentleman-like behaviour to freak out a girl.”
Elijah:” Wait a second, how come that I can’t compel you.”
Angel:” I can’t be compelled. Don’t worry, just me.”
Elijah:” I’ll talk to him tonight.”
Angel:” Fine.”
Elijah:” Do you trust me？”
Angel:” Give you a chance to prove that you still a man live in the code of honour.”
Elijah:” You threatened me.”
Angel:” You crossed me.”
Elijah:” It’s my fault underestimate you.”
Angel:” Sure you won’t make that mistake again. And by the way, no matter what you are gonna do tonight, please don’t free Katherine.”
Elijah:” Why would you think I’ll do that.”
Angel:” Ah, who knows. Given that you two have some history.”
Elijah脸色微妙。
Damon:” What？!”
Angel:” So it’s true. ”
Elijah:” I’m, ah, I’m afraid I have to go.”
Angel:” You know what British always say, there are three things you can’t hide, poor, cough and love.”
Elijah:” I suppose we’ll meet tomorrow. I’ll give a call.”
Elijah离开了。
Damon:” How do you know？”
Angel:” Even though Katherine is devious, I don’t think she can run from Klaus that easy.”
Damon:” Ah.”
Angel:” Can we call it night？ Or you want talk how hurt you are for Katherine is willing to sacrifice you to gain her freedom.”
Damon:” That’s old news. I don’t care. Wait, why can’t you be compelled？”
Angel:” Hum. Okay. When I was three years old, they implant something into my head.”
Damon:” What？!”
Angel:” Well, it’s hard to explain, but you can imagine it as a chip.”
Damon:” So there is a chip in your head, like, like a computer?”
Angel:” Yeah, that’s pretty much it.”
Damon:” Um. Eh, does it hurt.”
Angel:“ Not for a long time.”
Damon:” Ah, that’s good.”
Angel:” Well, since we are talking about this painful event, I have a question for you.”
Damon:” Go ahead.”
Angel:” Damon, do you really love Elena？”
Damon:” Oh, so now it’s my turn. You’re gonna use your magical psychological analyse on me. Well, save it.”
Angel:” I don’t have any vampire tricks, Damon. I don’t stare in your eyes or sneak into your head. I only see what you have showed me.”
Damon:” …”
Angel:” Do you really love Elena, Damon. Or it’s because she is a brightener version of Katherine.”
Damon:” …”
Angel:” I don’t need you answer, Damon. Just, think that through.”
