Caroline: How can anyone don’t love Angel. He is like a caring Stefan combines with fun Damon.

就在众人打算对Angel刨根问底的时候，门铃忽然响了，Damon飞快地看了一眼:”Uncle John.”
Elena立刻皱起了眉:” I told him I’m in Caroline’s. What is he doing here.”
Damon:” You guys, leave the room.”
众人都闪进隔壁的房间，偷听Damon和John的对话。
就在Stefan和Caroline专注精神、Elena和Bonnie焦急等待的时候，Angel慢吞吞的拿出一个耳机，不知道按了哪里，里面就传出了Damon和John交谈的声音。
几只都有点无语。
Stefan:” You put a dictograph？ When？”
Angel:” Sorry, force of habit. I’ll remove it.”
众人专心听，John留下dagger就走了。
大家又聚在客厅，Damon正要复述谈话内容，Angel从小桌边取下了一个贴纸一样的东西。
Damon向Angel一挑眉。
Angel无辜的摊了摊手。
Angel拿起dagger看了看，撇了一下嘴:” After that interesting conversation, I got pile of questions. Obviously, there are two options for me. One, get all the answers from you and get involved in, whatever this is. Two, leave right now, and please all of you, forget a person like me have ever been here.”
Elena:” And what will your choice would be？”
Caroline不想Angel这样的极品帅哥离开，赶快说:” Angel, uh, we are not the only vampire in town, or in this world. And your blood is so attractive, it’s, it’s really dangerous.”
Angel:” I can take care of myself.”
Damon一挑眉——是啊，我可以作证。
Angel礼貌的笑了笑——I’ll take that as a compliment.
Caroline还想说什么，Bonnie忽然插话:” It might because of a spell.”
Angel:” A what？”
Bonnie:” I think a witch cast a spell on you and send you here.”
Angel:” Can you do it？”
Bonnie:” I don’t know if I can find a spell. But there’s possibility.”
Angel皱起了眉，又若有所思的想了一会，最后略带无奈的摇了摇头, “Then guess I don’t have a choice here.”
“Yes!” Caroline欢呼一声。Stefan和Elena交换了一下视线。Damon专注的看着Angel，自然没有忽略Angel某一瞬看向他的、晦涩难辨的眼神。
接下来是交换信息的时间，三个女孩向Angel讲述了一直以来的经历，也从Angel身上挖到了不少秘闻——当然，是相当于以前Angel所处的世界。
Angel:” Let me conclude here. There are vampires, werewolves, witches and you, a doppelganger. Vampires are turned form human. Werewolves are born. There is a sun and moon curse between vampires and werewolves. So they all want to break it to gain more power. And an original vampire, Elijah, has come to town. He wants to kill another original, Klaus. So he made a deal with you, ask you to lure him out as a condition of keep everyone you care safe.”
Elena:“ That’s pretty much it.”
Caroline:” Ok, now tell us everything about you.”
Angel笑了一下:”Well, I got a story.”
“My name is Angel. I don’t have a last name, because I don’t have any family. Many decades ago, there are bunch of crazy scientists who have some perfectionism issues. They decided to create, a perfect human being. They call it, Angel project.”
“这样的实验需要大量的人力物力，所以他们成立的研究所决定与一个地下组织合作，共享一切资源，共享一切成果。实验进行的并不顺利，研究所的地位也越来越弱，最后已经基本由组织控制，在三十年前，组织终于兼并了研究所，并正式更名为，H。”
“这个时候，Angel project还留有最后一个，实验成果。”
“就是我。”
“作为一个，完美的人类，”Angel嘴角上翘，露出一个略带嘲讽的笑容，“我的骨骼结构、肌肉比例甚至五官分布完全符合黄金分割比例。从小，我接受各种训练，长大了，就开始接受各种任务。我做过雇佣兵，模特，歌手，商人，那些都是我的cover。I was like a secret agent. Live on the both side of the world. That’s it.”
Caroline:” Th, that’s it？! Come on, more details.”
“There are too many details, where do you want to start？”
“Uh, like how many supermodel girlfriends you had？”
“Oh, I never have a girlfriend. I’m gay.”
房间瞬间宁静。
Angel眼睛扫过众人诡异的表情:” We are in the modern time aren’t we？”
Caroline站起来，语无伦次的说:” Sure we are. I, uh, I need some air.”
众人默默看着Caroline走出后门，Elena跟Bonnie对视一眼刚想跟出去，Angel摆了摆手:” I got it.”
Caroline站在后廊檐下，听到Angel走近，吸了吸鼻子说:” Sorry I didn’t mean to… It’s my own problem.”
“Let me guess,your dad.”
“How do you know？”
“Simple. You look so sad. If it’s your boyfriend,you should be angry. ”
“That’s very true.”
“By the way, if a guy ever got a girlfriend like you, he can never be guy.”
Caroline一下子破涕为笑:” You are so sweet.”
Angel非常绅士的颔首致意。
Caroline:” Sorry again about how I reacted. I should figure that you are too hot to be straight.”
Angel爽朗一笑后恢复正经:” Wanna, talk about your dad？”
“Uh, not too much to talk about. Married, have me, realised his gay and left.”
“Caroline,” Angel握住她的肩，温柔的说,” It won’t be easy for him.”
Caroline眼眶一热，差点又哭了出来。
Angel轻声安慰了几句，Caroline索性痛快的哭了一下。
发泄过后，Caroline看着Angel深邃迷人的双眼，感慨：“幸亏你早就告诉了我你是gay，otherwise I would fall for you.”
Angel异常绅士的捧起女士的手：“我的荣幸。”
Caroline歪过头:” Angel, why are you gay？”
“Well, scientifically speaking,人类的sexual preference很大程度上由基因决定。”
“So the perfect human being has the gene？”
“En. Actually no. I just, I never been with woman.”
“Why？”
“The first person I ever loved was a man.”
“Oh, eh, was？”
“He is dead.” Angel的表情、语气都很平静。
“I’m so sorry.”
“It’s all right. It has been a long time.”
“Ah, have you ever considered been with woman？”
“No, never. Girl, don’t forget I’m a killer. That stressful gloomy life is not suitable for delicate beauties.”
Caroline撅了撅嘴，不大满意的样子。
Angel笑了笑:” And of course, we need luck and so many more to find love.”
想起自己的经历，Caroline点头:”Yes. Yes we do.”
两人回到厅中，Elena和Bonnie已经抱起了枕头。
Elena:” Come on Caroline. Let’s slumber it.”
Bonnie:” We haven’t done it in ages.”
三个女孩拥抱在一起。
Before they go, Elena对Angel说:” Angel, can I ask you to stay here？”
“You mean, live here, with the Salvatores？”
“Yes.”
“Is there a particular reason？”
“Yes. You can see. Stefan sometimes have trouble to resist human bloods. So I think you being around, maybe, help him to restrain.”
“No problem. I’m practically a hobo right now anyway.”
“Thank you so much.”
“My pleasure.”
