　　It seems that I’ve known Toophan for my whole life and surprisingly, we have been close friends since we first met. Amir once asked me, of course in his timid careful look, why I can make friend with his Baba I laughed so loudly that time, and felt sorry about both Amir and him. Toophan is not a good man but a great man. He is smart and no one can be better than him in business. There is a kind heart hidden under his skin. The orphanage is not some ideas driven by sudden impulse, but a thing that he thinks of for manyyears. He is a great guy because he always thinks about making this world better. Everyone loves him, but everyone is also afraid of him. No one knows what he will do next. Such a powerful man deserves people’s admiration and reverence. However, he is not a good man because he forgets to learn how to be a father, or I may say he refuses to learn. It’s all because of Sophia’s death.
　　When he first told me that he wanted to marry Sofia Akrami, I, as everybody else, thought he was crazy. But I, not as everybody else, firmly believed that he would finally make it. That is Toophan. That is why we’ve been friends for so manyyears. He has the courage to do anything he wants regardless of others doubts and he always succeeds. This courage and belief make me can’t help but to follow him and assist him as best as I can. I’m always thinking that if I had such courage when I was 18, things would be great different now.
　　Sofia and I soon became friends after they got married, which was not a surprise to Toophan. He said that “I knew you are the same kind of people: smart, kind, and are fond of books!” We laughed for we both knew only himself did not notice that he was one that belonged to the same category. Sofia, how luckyyou are! When you left us, at least the world was still bright and clean. God is too generous to give me so much time, and let me suffer seeing all the tortures and disasters. After I died, who could remember those old happy days
