　　The more I read, the more I like the 白玉堂 and 展昭 you wrote. Not to say 白玉堂 is always my favorite characters from the original novel, here, I feel you have given even more depth to this character. After being sexual assult by his best friend, pretending to be going out of his mind, not be able to forgive 展昭 and yet still helped him in many ways disregard of what people said, 白玉堂 is 白玉堂. I think one day when he fully accepts who 展昭 is, he will just forget all other miserable things that happened - no more an issue of being forgiving or not. I feel that here, I see a 白玉堂 whose heart is pure, whose eyes are single, and whose behavior is upright. As for 白玉堂\'s love, I think, is like the poem you used in one of your novels \'上邪\' - 我欲與君相知，長命無絕衰，山無陵，江水為竭，冬雷震震，夏雨雪，天地合，乃敢與君絕 - perfectly depicts 白玉堂\'s view of love. For 展昭, I just feel heart broken. I like your 展昭 more than the original novel and some other fanfics. A lot of the stories gives him a perfect portrait and yet you give him more depth and makes him more down to earth. When he shed tears in the beginning of the 2nd volume, it all the sudden registered in my mind, ah, this person is so strong and weak, now he is very much a living person who is so humane with not just righteousness but also compassion and who needs someone will give him empathy.
