9、第八章 入学通知 在日复一日

　　在日复一日的训练中，德拉科迎来了他美好的11岁生日。马尔福庄园举办了一场声势浩大极尽奢华的生日宴会。
　　零点一过，德拉科就收到了霍格沃兹的入学通知。
　　德拉科揭开印有霍格沃兹校徽的信封，从里面取出一张羊皮纸:
　　HOGWARTS SCHOOL OF WITCHCRAFT AND WIZARDRY

　　Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore
　　(Order of Merlin, First Class, Grand Sorc., Chf. Warlock, Supreme Mugwump, International Confed. of Wizards)

　　Dear Draco Malfoy,

　　We are pleased to inform you that you have a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.

　　Term begins on 1 September (or when you happen to register). We await your owl after registration.

　　Uniform
　　First year students will require:

　　Three sets of plain work robes (black)
　　One plain pointed hat (black) for day wear
　　One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar)
　　One winter cloak (black, silver fastenings)

　　Please not that all pupils' clothes should carry name tags

　　1 set glass or crystal phials

　　1 set brass scales

　　Students may also bring an owl, cat or toad
